Charging for School Visits
For curriculum based trips parents will be asked to make a voluntary donation towards the cost of school trips and some visiting groups. A minimum amount is requested in order to cover costs and no profit is made on these occasions. Should parents not be in a position to contribute, their child will not be individually disadvantaged. Please do not hesitate to contact the school office in such situations. However, if there are insufficient funds, the Governors reserve the right to cancel the activity for all. For non-curriculum based trips and for trips that have a board and lodging element, full payment is required in order for your child to take part in the trip. School Minibus
A minibus was purchased as a joint venture between the PTFA and the Governing Body in 2003 and replaced in 2018. This has proved to be invaluable in providing flexible transport for sports and musical events. Furthermore, financial economies have been passed onto parents through savings on coach bookings for year group day visits.
